So...I'm launching a website, and a store

As I sit here adding the last final touches to this site before sending it live, I am feeling really bloody proud of myself.

2025 was huge for so many reasons.

From the highest of highs.

The top of Mount Cook in New Zealand in fact, where my beautiful fiancé Elle said yes.

To the not so highs of facing your inner demons and finding the strength to actually prioritise my mental health.

There was a shift.

As I wrote in my first blog post…

“For a long time, life felt loud. Work, responsibility, expectations, the constant background noise of having to be switched on.

Somewhere in there, I realised I was spending a lot of time surviving…

…and not much time actually living.”

I made a very conscious decision to have a go.

To say yes more.

To not let fear make my decisions.

And just see what happens.

I’ve rediscovered my love of the outdoors.

I’m loving exploring new places.

I’ve also come to peace with the fact that maybe, just maybe, there might be a little touch of undiagnosed ADHD going on.

And that’s perfectly ok.

I’ve allowed myself to get distracted.

To follow the temptation of my inquisitive thoughts.

And just try things.

And somehow… this is where we’ve landed.

I taught myself how to build a website.

I’m learning (very slowly) videography and editing.

I launched a YouTube channel.

I built this site to share the journey.

Then I got a bit sidetracked and made some clothes and a hat for myself…

…and decided fuck it.

I’m starting a shop and a brand too.

I’ve just had a go.

And here we are.

Now it’s time to share it and see where this thing goes.

It might fall on its ass.

It might become a thing.

Who knows.

But I’ve enjoyed the learning.

I’ve enjoyed the small wins along the way while teaching myself new skills.

My mind has been active.

I feel accomplished.

And that’s a win.

Jesus this blog is all over the place.

I think I’m nervous.

I’m hoping to launch at 1800 hours today and the clock is ticking.

If you’ve made it this far, I hope you’re doing ok.

Sorry.

I can talk some serious shit.

Anyway…

It’s launch day.

And I’m proud of me.

Huge thank you to Elle for all her love and support.

Seb for being a constant source of encouragement and an elite hype man.

Patricia for all the tips, suggestions, encouragement, letting me bounce ideas around, and the very thoughtful offer of becoming my PA if I make the big time. LOL.
